Return of the Freethought Picnic!
It’s time to get back together again — in person! We’ll join our fellow freethought community, Minnesota Atheists, for our first picnic since the summer of 2019. We have reserved a shelter with restroom facilities, but with COVID restrictions having just been loosened, we are NOT going to do a potluck.
BRING YOUR OWN PICNIC!
Pack up a picnic basket like old times, make up a meal, bring any utensils you might need, and even a blanket to lay out in the grass if you really want to make it feel nostalgic. OR swing by a drive-thru and join us at a picnic table, we won’t judge.
This picnic is hosted by Minnesota Atheists. Everyone in the freethought community is welcome. Make this one a family affair and celebrate Father’s Day!
About the Picnic:
–Remember to bring your own picnic food.
–We have the shelter reserved, so it will occur rain or shine.
–The shelter area has electrical outlets, a sink, and bathrooms.
During the summer, the Minnesota secular and freethought community gets together for some jointly-held picnics. Whether you attend one of our participating groups regularly or just want to get acquainted and socialize with like-minded folks in a relaxed atmosphere, do join us.
Another picnic is being planned for July 18th hosted by HumanistsMN at the nearby JCs shelter at Central Park in Roseville — so save the date!
